Other highlights include serving as western Kentucky contact for John Anderson campaign in 1980; serving in various positions for feminist groups in Georgia; founding a local Democratic group in Marshall whose newsletter became the Calhoun County party newsletter; analyzing county-board re-apportionment three straight cycles (1990s, 2000s, and 2010s), and proposing plans each time with less population variation than the adopted plans; and serving in positions for the Green Party of Michigan including as a member of the State Central Committee since August 2001 and Elections Co-ordinator 2003-2016, and co-founding the South Central Michigan Greens local. Community Activity: Longtime member and current treasurer of Battle Creek Voices of Peace; also member of precursor group Marshall Peace Council. Served on the City of Marshall's Sister City and Future Energy Needs Committees; worked on Save Our Civic Center movement, which led to the founding of the Marshall Civic Center Trust; acted many times in productions by Marshall Civic Players and other groups in the region; co-founded Red Hen Productions.
